Request account deletion

This page is for users of the Shri Sadhgurudev app (Google Play listing name: Shri Sadhgurudev) and www.shrisadhgurudev.com, operated by Mantra Meta Shri Sadhgurudev LLP.
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
You can also ask us to delete some or all of your personal data without deleting your account. After we verify the request, you can keep using the app and website.
Delete some data, keep your account
- Open the Contact Us form, or call +91-9872501561 or +91-8699959233.
- Write Delete some of my Shri Sadhgurudev data as the subject or first line.
- Include your full name, mobile number, and email address, and list what you want removed (for example: profile photo or extra address fields, community comments or reactions, marketing consent, or contact-form messages).
- We will confirm the request and complete the deletion we can do within 30 days after we verify it is you. Your login stays active unless you also ask us to close the account.
We will not remove records we must keep for tax, accounting, fraud, or legal reasons (see below). Course access you paid for stays unless you ask us to close the account.
How to request full account deletion
- Open the Contact Us form on this website, or call +91-9872501561 or +91-8699959233.
- Write Delete my Shri Sadhgurudev account as the subject or first line of your message.
- Include the full name, mobile number, and email address registered on the account so we can verify it is you.
- We will confirm the request and complete deletion of personal account data within 30 days after we verify your identity. You will not be able to sign in after the account is deleted.
We may ask a short follow-up question to confirm you own the account. We will not delete an account based on an unverified request.
Data we delete
After a verified request, we delete or anonymise:
- Account login (mobile number, email, password, and session tokens)
- Profile details (name, gender, address, city, and state)
- App community data tied to you (comments, reactions, bookmarks, event RSVPs, and notifications)
- Course enrolment access linked to that account
- Contact or support messages that are not required for legal records
Data we keep, and for how long
Some records cannot be removed immediately because Indian tax, accounting, or legal rules require us to keep them:
- Purchase, invoice, and payment status records (including Razorpay payment identifiers, amount, and items bought) may be kept for up to 8 years, then deleted or anonymised.
- Records needed for fraud, dispute, or legal claims may be kept for as long as the claim or legal requirement lasts.
- Server backups that still contain your data are overwritten within 90 days of the account deletion.
Data we keep for those reasons is not used to provide app access and is not used for marketing.
What deletion does not do
- It does not cancel a completed purchase refund automatically. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- It does not uninstall the app from your device. Remove the app yourself from Google Play or Android settings if you wish.
- Public course catalogues and official posts created by us stay in the app for other users.
